2011 Applied Ergonomics Conference & Expo

The 2011 Applied Ergonomics Conference & Expo, presented by GOErgo, The Global Organization of Ergonomics, will be held March 21-24, 2011 in Orlando, FL. This international ergonomics conference will feature more than 70 educational sessions, industry-leading keynote speakers and interesting and informative exhibitors.

A new tract has been added this year: Applied Ergonomics Research - learn about academic research on real-world ergonomic issues. A series of presentations by researchers from institutions with applied ergonomic research will discuss new approaches they have used to measure, analyze and reduce ergonomic risk factors in the workplace.

A meeting is planned at AEC 2011 focusing on further expansion to include more international interaction by attendees, speaker's opportunities and student programs. If you are interested in participating in this discussion, please contact Carol Le Blanc at cleblanc@iienet.org.

Your organization can enter the annual prestigious Ergo Cup® competition and showcase your company's successful ergonomic solutions. To win one of the competition's awards, companies can submit their application for consideration. The three categories including: Team Driven Workplace Solutions; Engineering/Ergonomist-Driven Workplace Solutions; and Ergonomic Program Improvement Initiatives; winners of the Ergo Cup® will be announced during the conference. The deadline for applications is Nov. 22, 2010.

Creativeness in Ergonomics (CE) Practitioner of the Year recognizes achievements in the creative application of ergonomics. Creativeness in Ergonomics (CE) Student of the Year award recognizes achievements in the application or research in ergonomics. These awards have a monetary value. Nominations are being accepted until Nov. 30, 2010.

With NexGen Ergonomics as a Corporate Conference Partner, AEC is offering a $100 conference registration discount to attendees that did not attend AEC in 2010. To apply for the discounted rate, please refer to discount code DGEN11 when registering.
