I2M Motion Tracking Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs)
Our I2M ( IMUs to Motion) family of products provide an unmatched choice of sensors, features and expandability. All our sensors while smaller than a typical wristwatch contain 8GB of memory. All sensors allow the customer to change the settings to either 2g or 6g depending on their needs without having to purchase multiple sensors. Our SXT series enables up to 24 motion trackers to be used either individually or together with all sensors being synchronized in wireless mode or up to 18 SXTs in data logging mode.

Up to 18 SXTs exchange data packets to maintain precise time synchronization (≤10 µs difference) with, or without, a Wireless Access Control Unit (WCTL). The SXT is unique in offering both types of synchronization.
- Record natural movement: Small, silent, and wireless means the subject will wear it and forget it – recording natural movement all day long.
- Flexible monitoring methods: Continuously stream data for real-time processing, or record data to on-board memory for later download, or both.
- Continuous monitoring: The SXT's on-board data storage can hold over 28 days worth of data. With over 16 hours of battery life while continuously monitoring, and more than 8 hours while wirelessly streaming, the SXT can log data throughout the day.
- Powerful tools for data analysis: Our software development toolkit includes support for MATLAB, Java, Python, and C. Cross-platform support for Windows, Mac, and Linux is also provided.

SXT: These full featured IMUs can be used for either continuous monitoring of synchronized devices or in applications that require real-time streaming to a computer. The SXTs use a proprietary low-power wireless communications protocol to Wireless Access Control Units (WCTL) that are connected to the computer by USB. The SXTs and WCTLs both have large data buffers to ensure that data is never dropped, even if communications are temporarily interrupted or if the SXTs are temporarily out of range of the WCTLs.
WXT: These IMUs have all of the same features and sensors as the SXTs, but do not permit wireless streaming to a computer. The data can be easily retrieved any time a WXT is inserted in a docking station.
DXT: These are low-cost solutions that have the same sensor performance as our other IMUs. DXTs do not contain a wireless radio and are designed for applications requiring long-term recordings. DXTs produce high-precision kinematic data with a 50 Hz bandwidth.

Notes
- One Wireless Access Control Unit can support up to six SXTs. We recommend using two Wireless Access Control Units if you are streaming data (wireless operation) in a large, open area where one Control Unit will not provide sufficient coverage, or if you are using the system where there is wireless occlusion, such as around a corner.
- WXT series IMUs synchronize with each other and do not require a Wireless Access Control Unit.
- All sensors include a docking station to recharge the battery and for downloading data.
- All IMUs are shipped in a case with documentation.
- NexGen TK Motion Manager software is included with all sensor orders.
- Docking station to download data and recharge the battery is included with all IMU purchases.
