NexGen Ergonomics Announces ManneQuinPRO™ V8 and ManneQuinBE™ V2.6

Montreal, April 7, 2003 -- NexGen Ergonomics Inc. (NexGen) is pleased to announce that customer deliveries of ManneQuinPRO™ Version 8 and ManneQuinBE™ Version 2.6 have commenced. These product releases continue the proud history of these products started in 1990 with the release of ManneQuin 1.0, followed with thousands of these systems installed worldwide.

ManneQuin BE (Basic Edition) is our entry-level human modeling system. Version V2.6 now supports Windows XP. Features include 1998 Natick US Army database, field of view analysis, animation, DXF file import/export, reach testing and reach envelopes, library of predefined and user defined postures and rendering features.

ManneQuinPRO features three-dimensional humanoid figures for 11 populations and numerous percentiles and body types. Other features include NIOSH lifting equation, field of vision cones, reach envelopes, animation, and more. The system is equipped with import/export tools to be used with graphics software such as Autodesk's AutoCAD and 3D Studio MAX.

ManneQuinPRO V8 includes a completely redesigned user interface. Multiple views of multiple documents can now be opened at the same time, and the extensive use of dockable toolbars speed up the workflow providing graphical shortcuts. The print management has been enhanced and includes a customizable print preview. Other features include:
