Grips and Attachments

Mark-10 grips and attachments are integral components of testing systems, designed for a wide range of tension, compression, and torque applications. These grips and attachments are able to mount to Mark-10 force gauges, torque gauges, sensors, and test stands.

Wire Terminal Grips

These grips are designed for securing wire terminals, cables, connectors, and other samples for pull testing. Three wire diameter capacities are available: 0.125", 0.25", and 0.375". Use these grips with the G1002 dual roller grip, and choice of test stands and force gauges to create complete terminal and crimp testing systems.

Dual Roller Grip

This cam grip secures the ends of wire, cable, and tubing samples for pull testing. Engaging and disengaging samples is quick and easy, with a side slot for sample insertion and serrated steel rollers. Use this grip with a G1001 wire terminal grip, force gauge, and test stand to create a complete terminal and crimp testing system.

Film & Paper Grips

These grips are designed for gripping film, paper, labels, packaging, and other thin materials for tensile and peel testing. Adjustable serrated interlocking jaws effectively grip the samples for up to 100 lb of force. The grips are available in four sizes: 1", 3", 5", and 7". Use them with a force gauge and a test stand to create a complete testing system.

Pneumatic Grip

This fully enclosed, air-powered grip is ideal for seal strength testing of packaging, elongation testing of various materials, and other tensile testing requirements. Serrated interlocking jaws effectively grip samples for up to 100 lb of force.

The grip features an industry-unique integrated open/close valve for quick sample engagement and disengagement, an added benefit for repetitive applications. An air connection kit, consisting of air tubing and fittings, is available as an option. Use a pair of these pneumatic grips with a force gauge and a test stand to create a complete testing system.

Parallel Jaw Grip

This grip is ideal for general pull testing applications. Manually tightened serrated jaws may be individually adjusted for samples up to 0.25" thick. Use this grip with a Mark-10 force gauge and test stand to create a complete testing system.

Multi-Jaw Grip

This unique and universal grip is designed for gripping round and irregularly shaped items. Adjustable jaws accommodate a range of sample shapes and sizes. Wedge Grips

Bottle Grip

This unique grip is designed for securing bottles, containers, and other items for closure torque testing. Eight rubber edged gripping arms effectively grip a wide range of sample shapes and sizes and can be individually positioned at angles of up to 180°. The G1023 mounts directly to the TST, TSTH, TSTM, and TSTMH Torque Measurement Test Stands. The grip may also be mounted to a force measurement stand to secure closures in such applications as top load testing.

Cap Grip

This grip effectively secures bottle caps during torque testing. The G1053 is designed with a hex tail to fit into the chucks of our torque sensors. Reversible serrated jaws accommodate caps with diameters of 0.65 - 1.80 in [16.5 - 45.7 mm] while a knob quickly engages and disengages samples.

This grip can be used either manually with an STJ torque sensor or MGT torque gauge, or in test stand controlled applications, using our Series TST torque test stands. If used with a test stand, this grip complements our G1023 bottle grip.
