The ADU301 is a hand held two channel display unit providing a quick and simple reading of angular data. Any Biometrics' Goniometer or Torsiometer is connected to the ADU301 with any of the "J" series interconnect leads. No calibration is necessary. The joint to be measured is placed in the neutral position and the zero key is pressed to zero both the display and the amplified outtput. Static angles are displayed on the LCD (liquid crystal display). Static or dynamic angular analogue voltage output is obtained by connecting the ADU301 to the Output Isolation Unit type no. R3000. This small interface unit contains Full Electrical Isolation Circuitry for compliance with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC and comes with its own mains power supply and cord. Although only one channel can be displayed at a time using the LCD, the dynamic output from the R3000 is continuous for both channels.
