Tekscan FlexiForce MELF
(Multi-Handle Economical Load and Force System)

New Multi-Handle ELF™ (Economical Load & Force) data acquisition system (MELF). This is a simple to use, turnkey solution allowing the user to view and record up to 16 channels of force data with FlexiForce® single-point sensors.

The Multi-Handle ELF is offered as a stand-alone product or a software upgrade to the ELF system. New features include the ability to view 16 channels in one window, multi-point calibration routines, and the ability to tare a load. The Multi-Handle Software also allows users to prototype OEM applications requiring multiple sensors.

Please note that the MELF System comes with one handle. Additional handles are purchased separately.

To use the ELF 3.10 Multi-Handle software with multiple RS-232 serial ports, one port must be available for each ELF handle used. To meet the power requirements for the ELF handle and Flexiforce sensor, compatible serial ports must generate at least 7 Volts each from the DTR and RTS pins. They also must be labeled with a distinct COM port number.
